Thanks to , I finally have a properly working art program to go with my new Wacom tablet. The trial program it came with, SketchBook Express 2010, was terribly limited and caused a few headaches. Now that I have a fully-functioning SketchBook program up and running, I feel a lot more inspired to make some cool stuff
For anyone familiar with the SketchBook series, does anyone have any good tips to pass on? I'm entering uncharted territory with this stuff, and I'm excited to learn some good techniques, but I don't know where to start.
If you used some online tutorials (which I know there's a huge sea of them out there) which ones worked best for you?

Too Many Memes and Screenshots
Is anyone else tired of seeing the abundance of lazy deviations that are nothing but screenshots or memes? After getting into The Loud House and joining a few LH groups, I was really annoyed to see that a bulk of the submissions featured were just lazy screenshots of the show, sometimes with text to try and make it into a meme (or just an unfunny and obvious observation about the episode) and sometimes with nothing at all. I mean, how lazy can you get?!
When I check the accounts of these people who post nothing but screenshots and memes, they come off as immature cringe-lords. If there were an option to just block them and their 'work' that
Etsy or Ebay?
I've been hoping to try making some new batches of wood burning art to sell online, but I'm unsure if Ebay or Etsy is the better site to use. This won't be a primary source of income, just a small way to make a few extra bucks.
I mainly wanted to ask for the people who have used Etsy what it's like. I've used Ebay for years to sell off random things around the house, and I know that there's both a fee from PayPal and a monthly fee from Ebay after the item sells. oes Etsy have a similar fee structure, or is it more reasonable?
I plan on starting off small and selling the little wooden discs first for a small price, and work up to bigger proj
New Medium: Wood Burning!
So lately I've been feeling annoyed at my attempts of not doing well with regular drawing or digital art, so I thought I'd try something a bit different and found out that I really enjoy doing wood burning! I got myself a lot of little disc-shaped pieces of wood and a wood burning kit (a Walnut Hollow Versa-Tool) and I practiced with making some keychains for some friends.
I found it really therapeutic, not just for the nice sauna-like smell, but I think the fact that I can't erase the marks I make when I burn them into the wood is helping me stick with the pictures i make and strive for improvement, instead of just erasing over and over and
